About me...

CHAD PASINGER

I was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee.

I decided to go to Chattanooga for college because I enjoyed the energy of the town and UTC is a wonderful institution to explore opportunities and careers.

I didn't know what I wanted to do until my third year of college when I took a photojournalism class taught by the documentary photographer, Billy Weeks.

A new way of looking at the world was opened to me and I started photographing everything. Over the semester I fell in love with the still image and what it could say. During the summer, I decided photography was what I wanted to do for a career. I became the Assistant Photo Editor at the University Echo (UTC's newspaper) to continue to hone my skills as a visual storyteller. I also worked at mocsnews as a camera operator, editor and reporter.

Since college I have worked as anindependent photographer and videographer.
